Even though this book is aimed at helping “young creatives” get into college by helping them build a standout portfolio and how to find the best college for their talents, I found immense value as an “old creative.”

Much of what Dana shares can also be applied beyond college. For example, I think this is a great reminder of how to stay open for success:

“Keep your eyes and heart open to the world around you. Often, the best ideas come when you are not even looking for them.”

There are many action steps in this guide that are practical and helpful. This book is positive reinforcement “to keep learning, growing, and discovering!”
