“Sometimes I like to give people ideas to test…” – Callie poses this intriguing thought to Dan (two of the characters in the book), followed by a “challenge” of sorts to look at the status quo.

“I’ve seen people who keep doing something just because they’ve been doing it. The problem is not that the light has gone out of whatever they’re doing, or at least it’s not only that. It’s that keeping on keeping on robs time they could put into doing what does light them up.”

Exploring that idea helps to make this book so enjoyable to read because Dan has to figure out what really lights him up – and I think he’s surprised when he does. This is a book of hope and encouragement.

Thank you, Donn!
